Mullet Bay has long been regarded as one of the top beaches in SXM but it’s lack of amenities forced tourists and locals to keep their visits short.
For many years David and Leo provided refreshments and shade with DaLeo’s and in 2020 David earned the right to provide a proper establishment on Mullet Bay Beach and so “Da Waterhole” was born.
With a newly built bar and kitchen, you enjoy cold drinks and fresh food. The new facility has showers, lockers, changing rooms, and toilets. The same great family provides chairs and umbrellas.

With a great kitchen and Caribbean style BBQ you get to taste Sint Maarten! The menu features all your beach time favorites and local delights such as BBQ chicken, ribs, or fish, as well as sandwiches and snacks to munch. Some of our (We Are SXM) recommendations:
- Grilled Fresh Mahi Mahi w. Rice, Veggies & Plantain
- Hurricane Shrimp Sandwich, (Spicy Jerk Sauce)
- Caribbean “fall of the bone” Oxtail
Meanwhile, you get to know the local staff and of course, the York family is usually around for friendly banter and the latest island news.
