SOCIAL SERVICES
Division of Social Services in Sint Maarten
The Division of Social Services includes services such as health insurance, social welfare, guidance, and care. In addition, budget counseling and life coaching programs are organized depending on demand.
Aid comes in the form of the following:
- Medical Assistance such as medical insurance.
- Financial Assistance such as welfare.
- Legal Assistance such as legal advice.
Social workers can also provide counseling, crisis care, and referrals to other services if needed. Although the services are open for all to apply, only those who qualify and are legally registered on Sint Maarten will be assisted.
